Our Grants & Venues

Rano may make grants for any charitable purpose and any non-commercial purpose that is beneficial to the whole or a section of the community.

Portal

The cut-off date for applications is the 10th day of each month. Applications are normally considered on the last week of each month (this is subject to change).

Grants

Priority funding will be given to amateur sport, religion, education and not-for-profit organisations which actively support community education and cohesion.

Venues

Rano gives priority to grant applicants based in the cities where its gaming venues are located.

Grant applications are considered in accordance with Rano’s authorised purpose statement and grants policy.

Rano Community Trust Limited is a not-for-profit company which operates gaming machines to raise funds for the community.
Rano may make grants for any charitable purpose and any non-commercial purpose that is beneficial to the whole or a section of the community. About Responsible Gambling

Gaming is a source of entertainment for a large number of New Zealanders.
A small percentage of people do experience moderate to severe problems with gambling.
