The Board of Directors and Net Proceeds Committee of Rano Community Trust Ltd are:

Satnam Bains – Chairman

Satnam is the current Chairman of Rano Community Trust. He is the Owner and Operator of Four Square Raglan and is very active in the Raglan community as well as the South Auckland community, where he grew up. Satnam has strong business acumen and is a keen investor across a broad range of industries. He has an Accounting degree from AUT and has held several governance roles, mainly across sporting and charitable organisations. Satnam is passionate about amateur sports and youth issues.

Harshi Bains – Director

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Harshi moved to New Zealand in 2016. She currently practices as a Commercial and Property Lawyer in Hamilton and volunteers her time with several different sporting organisations and charities across Hamilton and Auckland. She holds a Law and Business degree and has a keen interest in sports, human rights issues and youth development.

Gail Tagaloa – Director

Gail has an extensive regulatory and compliance background of 14 years as an Alcohol Licensing Inspector for Auckland Council. Before becoming an Alcohol Licensing Inspector, she was employed in another regulatory and compliance position as a Parking Officer for six years with the former Manukau City Council. Gail has worked in government agencies for a total of 30 years. She worked with CYFS (as they were known then) as a care giver for abused children. Gail is a people person and a sport fan. She is an avid All Blacks supporter, and also enjoys rugby league, netball, soccer and other community sports teams.

Yun Ma – Director

Yun Ma originally came from China. After she finished her Bachelor of Tourism degree, she moved to New Zealand in 2007. She has 18 years’ working experience in the retail industry and currently works in a Child Education Centre as manager assistant. Yun enjoys New Zealand’s culture and environment. She is willing to share her experience with people and do her best to help the community.
